Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Noah D — 11 Feb 2010
I look at this movie as interesting insight on the kind of Man Guevara was and the kind of place South America was at the time, and probably still is in a lot of places.
Guevara looks like a man who's desire is to do some good in the world, to help the sick, and to free the poor from oppression. I think that he might have been one who had good intentions for his actions and in the end he became caught up in things that were beyond he control.
Its about a beginning. This trip opened Guevara up to the world around him and he was passionate enough about it to actually change it, though probably not for the better.
I don't think that this film is about praising Guevara, but actually showing us that originally he was a man after equality and fairness, and we all know that it is a hard road to walk righteously.
