I remember this movie mainly for the trailers, where a voice on the phone saying "chaaapstiiiiick" was made into the big scary selling point. It's really a pretty murky story, with Gere and Linney doing their best to work around the messy legend mumbo-jumbo.
Mothman Prophecies never quite goes anywhere, but it does have a spookier than usual atmosphere thanks to some really nice cinematograpy, which is really all that I got out of it.
