"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" is a movie with good cast and top-notch special effects. However something Is missing to be a great movie. There are lots of information to be disclosed and many characters are not well developed like, for example, Valentine.
But the worst is the lack of emotions, like the incestuous relationship between Clary and Jace that is not well resolved. Clary is also a rebel teenager that shows no affection to Jocelyn and when her mother is kidnapped, she changes her behavior.
