With a fascinating true story, an okay script full of fine dialogue written by George Clooney and Grant Heslov, an all-star cast full of amazing performances headed by George Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Bob Balaban, Jean Dujardin and Hugh Bonneville, fantastic directing by George Clooney and a slow but alright pace and flow, The Monuments Men has potential to be a very powerful movie but ends up trying to be serious while mixing humour throughout the film.
