Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Shane D — 22 Aug 2014
If not for the combined love for Murray-Clooney-Damon-Goodman, this would have been half the film it was, barely squeaking by with any semblance of a twisting and turning plot, instead a bunch of cobbled together sequences, featuring solid performances.
Devoid of many tense moments or over the top emotion, it lacked the heart and soul it very well could have had. Still, it was fun to see all these folks together in the one room.
