I've watched this movie several times, believe it or not, NOT because of Clooney. based on a true story, I got a lot of insight on what was going on behind the scenes during the final days of the war.

I also liked that this movie wasn't based on the violence of war, but rather the human frailties and strengths and courage that come to the fore during those times.
