Review of The Monster Project (2017) by Michael J — 18 Aug 2017
Most horror movies use the same old editing and suspense tricks with sudden "startle the shit out of you" tricks. This movie on the other hand is a thriller rather than a series of "I scared you again with cookie cutter horror film editing and shooting tricks" designed to startle you.
Instead of making you jump out of the chair it makes you hang on for a great ride and the only people really terrified out of their minds are the characters in the movie. You will just be glad your in the audience because you know that if you had been there you would have fallen for the vampire girl.
You'd end up booking tattoo session after tattoo session and be perfectly happy with your complexion getting paler and paler while your red blood cell count plummets until you run out of skin for tattoos.
