Review of The Monster (2016) by John G — 18 Jan 2019
A midget gem. This film is low on jump scares and visceral horror. Its backbone is the stong chemistry between the two female leads - a mother.
And daughter relationship that is fractured at the start of the film, but healed and mended through adversity. The two performances are top notch and credible. I cried at the end.
