Review of The Monolith Monsters (1957) by Al M — 03 Feb 2011
An entertaining but not great piece of 50s b-level sci-fi about rocks that begin to fall to Earth and petrify people. Soon, these alien rocks begin expanding and multiplying when they come in contact with water.
What is humankind to do?!? The Monolith Monsters has not underlying message of powerful theme to make it memorable, but it is still a competent and thoroughly enjoyable piece of cheesy 50s sci-fi for those who enjoy the period of the genre.
