Review of The Mist (2007) by Alain R — 13 Sep 2014
There are some movies out there that are well done, they make you feel sad, scared, humored, touched, and every other emotion. I've seldom been more moved by movies than Stephen King-based movies. This one surely doesn't fail.
That being said, I have a very hard time watching it. I went to the movies to see it when it came out and I was so angry leaving the theater. The movie leaves you feeling a true loss. I don't know why I decided to buy it, but I did, seven years after its release, and it literally took me three torturous attempts to finally get through the movie.
Why do I do this to myself? I'm not sure. But it's very well done.
