Review of The Mist (2007) by Gabriel L — 30 May 2013
At first, seriously not as bad as everyone has told me. I think only the critic of my local papers said it was passable.
But it stills not a masterpeice. God! who could have told that Frank Darabont could get there. Remember The Shawshank Redemption. Thrust me, we're far from there.
I think I've rarely seen lines of a script replying that bad to the other. The script was just not coherent. One guy is angry at an other one and you don't even understand why cause because of the dialogue they had you dont get how they could have communicated well. It's at that stupid. I respect Stephen King's novel and I don't hate this film, but it's definitly not the best it could have been. Still can't decide wich was the best, rather The fog or The Mist.
There was, a very powerful end and that is what I think , is what makes this movie or this story kind of Good. We have here a ok horror thriller of this year wich will give you a time on anxiety and disgust wich is actually the ultimate goal of something like this.
