Review of The Mist (2007) by Jake F — 19 Oct 2012
The Mist is helmed by the awesome Frank Darabont who brings King's short story to life with great focus and charm. Not only does the film divide its characters into two groups: the paranoid, bible wielding types and the rational-minded, decidedly left-wing members of the community, but this movie shows a great view of society in the Bush Jr era.
And one of the best things about this one is that it gives moviegoers the boldest ending in the last 10 to 20 years.
