Review of The Mist (2007) by Benny H — 11 Jul 2018
I previously watched The Belko Experiment. A movie that shows that in the end, people are out for themseleves. The Mist somewhat portrays that same idea. It's a little more polished up in the sense that people are not just out for themselves, but humans will always blame someone for what is happening.
People will go just as far to justify their actions by saying what they do is what 'God' wants them to do. The idea is very confusing, so I recommend watching the film yourself to witness what I mean.
The idea is something I love, but I love the creatures too, the Behemoth being my personal favorite. I also take interest in the ending. It is satisfying having a conclusive end to the family's story, but upsetting not having the official answer of what the actual f#!% is going on.
