One of the best horror films of all time. The direction is brilliant, the performances are all on point. Definitely not a Hollywood ending.
It is what I expect in a horror film, to be terrified. Not so much what actually comes out of the mist, but more so the realistic interaction between individuals who are put in such a terrible situation. Overall, an exciting emotional roller coaster with a bit of horror thrown in for good measure.
