An engrossing movie, it has robert deniro and jeremy irons playing priests who defend the land of the south american indians. Shot mostly in the jungle, it is a feat of filmmaking endurance. The actors themselves look like they were put through the wringer.
Look for a very young liam neeson and aidan quinn.
