Review of The Mission (1986) by M E — 19 Nov 2007
Repeat after me:
The Mission. Has the greatest score. In the history of cinema.
It almost doesn't matter about the rest of the film, because it's an excuse to play Ennio Morricone's work of complete genius over the images. However, the film itself is also nearly perfect.
