Review of The Mission (1986) by Elliott F — 06 Sep 2008
Very moving film, makes you wish things weren't like that in the real world. But not moving enough to make you outraged or feel a sense of shame for the things the colonialists did in the past. Good music, plot, characters, action.
..but like I said, you never really get past the fact that this is how it was, and this is how it is in the mean world out there.
