I love watching movies and I specially love watching movies that has special time in history with epic shots and scenes and haunting soundtracks and of course excellent acting. The Mission is one of Robert De Niro's best movies ever.
..it's a battle between the might of the sword, the faith of the faithful, and the loyalties of individuals who are sworn to defend their ideals - whether morally repugnant or sacred. While I've seen this a while back in the mid-80s, if you watch it today, it is still fresh, and the message and acting is still superb.
..a true classic.
