Review of The Mission (1986) by Jonna V — 16 Feb 2011
Based around a wonderful soundtrack from Ennio Morricone, that carries the story all the way through, "The Mission" is a powerful epic drama that delivers a story about forgiveness and sacrifice.
I'm not sure it would have won the Canne Film Festival in todays era, but it's strong vibrant message will bring a tear to the hardest of souls.
