Bizarre, yet somehow very comfortable and inspiring... I would disagree somewhat that this is a look into Black Metal (or music at all). It's more of an abstract study on human interaction and friendship.
Excellent dark ambient soundtrack, and some nice visuals round it out, though the lo-fi/DIY appearance, and zero narritive or linear push will cancel most non-fan viewers out. Fans of Darkthrone may enjoy the snippets of rehearsals and recording footage.
While Darkthrone does take up a good portion of the minutes, and Aura Noir and Gallhammer have some live clips on here, this is NOT a Darkthrone DVD, and metal fans may not enjoy this somewhat obtuse and arty movie.
