Review of The Miracle Worker (1962) by Derek D — 02 Feb 2009
This film is excellent. Annie Sullivan is a beautiful example of love with tenacity. The two main characters give wonderful performances. I was deeply moved the first time I saw it. Annie's love for Helen, and her refusal to give up in the face of Helen's stubborn ignorance seemed so like God's determination to see me through, even when I seem to think He has turned against me.
