Bizarre film with almost no plot, based instead on observing these intriguing characters in action. Anchored by a bewitching lead performance from Jeremy Davies as Tom Tom, playing the village idiot with an oddly moving combination of frenzy and grace.
Soft, mystical, and strangely fascinating. Look out for a doozy of a cameo from Tim Roth, whose unseen presence powerfully haunts the entire film.
