Review of The Million Dollar Hotel (2000) by Jonathan S — 17 Mar 2010

This is a very off-beat little independent film. It took me a little while to get into but it grew on me. The cast of characters is a veritable freak show, played very well by the actors. The story line is basically the investigation of a suspicious death at a fleabag motel by an odd FBI agent (Mel Gibson), starting with his befriending a twitchy, mentally slow, but kind-hearted skateboarder (Jeremy Davies).

There is not much to the plot but the crazy characters keep the movie interesting.
