Review of The Mighty (1998) by Rich B — 06 Jun 2004
"On the bad days, I never put him down.".
The Mighty (1998) ? Sharon Stone (Catwoman), Kieran Culkin (Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys and Cider House Rules), Elden Hanson (Butterfly Effect and Mighty Ducks) and a host of other fine actors star in a movie about two young outcasts that overcome emotional and physical handicaps by teaming up, and eventually becoming the greatest friends. Set against a King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table theme, this film was an absolute delight. Elden Hanson was just awesome, but it?s so hard to say that when Culkin and Stone and everybody else was incredible in their own right. And what a great story! Not even Titanic got to me like this movie did. In the end, tears rolled down my cheeks and I cried and cried for the little outcast hero in me.
