Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Chris T — 11 Feb 2010
Gooooooooooooooore. A little horror treat from legend Clive Barker, plenty of gore flying around with some dodgy CGI at times, the eye pop scene springs to mind. But the decapitation sequence moments later more than made up for that.
A simple story to get to grips with, with Barkers typical twist at the end to explain it was actually gorey and violent for a reason. Probably Vinnie Jones's best role simply because he didnt speak (thank christ).
All in all a good solid suspensful horror flick with a simple enough story to sink ya teeth into.
