Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Tamatai N — 18 Jul 2011
An incredibly bizarre concept to begin with, but I felt the film handled itself quite well in this regard. There were just so many little flaws that make this film pretty average, and it always pains me when the work of someone like Clive Barker isn't done justice.
I'll admit that there were times when the tension and atmosphere was done exceptionally well, but as a whole it remains something for a 'horror movie night' with friends rather than anything overly special.
