While I didn't read the original story, I certainly have no desire to do so...

This is "gore porn"! ...a VERY specific subgenre of horror that caters to a very select few... I on the other hand could, perhaps, hardly be more disappointed! While I enjoy horror for the sake of horror to a point, nearly everything in this movie was actually pretty bad! The story, the acting, etc. The special effect's/CGI were okay, but it's not like everything else wasn't so bad, with the CGI being good enough, as to make it worthwhile, ya know, for 'shit's & giggle's'. The CGI might as well have sucked since that's all that the movie really amounts to.
