Review of The Midnight Meat Train (2008) by Ruben A — 31 Mar 2012
I want to love this movie, I really do, and while it's very cool, the director just doesn't know how to tell and sell the story. Most, if not all, of the hows and whys are left annoyingly unexplored and the film just doesn't have the gripping atmosphere to pull off such open holes, and Cooper's character comes across as incredibly bland, making Bibb's hysterical overacting all the more grating.
On the other hand, the stony Vinnie Jones makes a surprisingly good horror villain.
