Review of The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) (2017) by Brad S — 19 Oct 2017

I don't love any of Baumbach's films. But I did like this one just enough, same as While We Were Young. Both feature better characters and storytelling then Baumbach usually gives. There's something a little more developed here than just day-in-the-lives of a few quirky New Yorkers.

..but not much more. Baumbach still has a long way to go to make anything he puts on screen emotionally compelling for me.
