There is evidence to suggest that children are highly susceptible to paranormal phenomena. They see what adults cannot. They believe what adults deny. And they are trying to warn us. Roy and Denise Solomon, and their children Ben and Jess, move from Chicago into a run-down sunflower farm in North Dakota. As the farm begins to revive after years of disrepair, the family begins to recognize miserable and alarming changes in their father's behavior. Jess sees ghosts in the house, but her parents do not believe in her.

Directed by Danny Pang and Oxide Pang Chun, 'The Messengers' features great acting performances from the following cast:

1.) Kristen Stewart (Jessica "Jess" Solomon).

2.) Dylan McDermott (Roy Solomon).

3.) Penelope Ann Miller (Denise Solomon).

4.) John Corbett (Burwell).

5.) Dustin Milligan (Bobby).

When I first saw 'The Messengers' I find it scary yet watchable, and part of the reason I only watched this is because of a great performance of Kristen Stewart in her first horror movie (no really, she's hot!) and claiming to have seen poltergeists in a creepy-looking farm. Yeah, even with those sunflowers behind them, the farm is so creepy looking that it carried the darkest secrets and even good horror moments like the birds. I didn't even get scared or bored during 90 minutes of this, so even though it was sometimes slow, the film wasn't so bad. All I wanted to see was a good view of deathlike horror with the weirdest things happening in a farm.
