Review of The Messenger (2009) by Kyle B — 26 May 2010
The performances were definately good. Ben Foster and Woody Harrelson gave the best performances of their career(ok so its tide with Zombieland for Woody Harrelsons best) The problem was that I got bored.
You can only show so many times them going to tell the next of kin that their son/daugher/whathaveyou have died. Between those scenes, I felt like I was watching the seinfeld of war movies cause there was really a whole of nothing except for bar scense and crashing a wedding rehersal.
I wanted to like it more than I did but I felt like falling asleep.
