Review of The Messenger (2009) by Fabian K — 03 Jun 2010
Here's a movie that stops you in your tracks. Anchored by the great performances from Ben Foster and Woody Harrelson, this movie gives grace and humane reality to a situation many of us know nothing about.
The best war-time film about Iraq, yeah, even better than The Hurt Locker because it isn't a slam-band action flick. This is a drama that taps into the human psyche of men who know too much about the emotions swirling around the war.
