Review of The Messenger (2009) by Chad M — 08 Jun 2010
This film was very solid. I've been wanting to see it for awhile and finally got around to it. It's a very powerful and emotional film. War movies are always very interesting. While this one doesn't actually show the action of War it shows soldiers that have to deliver the news that a soldier has died to the soldier's family.
The performances by all were amazing and really carry the film. Specifically Harrelson and Foster. They both could have received an Oscar nomination in my opinion. You really connect with the characters and feel their pain.
