Extremely grim. Shows the two sides - the tragedy of a soldier's death on the family and the emotions the 'messengers' go through while delivering the news. A tough movie to make. Good performances from Ben and Woody.
See it only if you like grim, drama movies. Not for those looking for entertainment.
