Review of The Messenger (2009) by Adam W — 10 Jul 2010
The Messenger is absolutely brilliant. The raw emotion in this film is breathtaking. A film about the effects of war without a political agenda. It's all about the human perspective of losing someone in war.
Foster and Harrelson deliver Oscar performances. Harrelson may have given the performance of a lifetime. Foster, who is always in the role, was so believable, it hurt your soul to watch him perform his duties as Staff Sgt Montgomery.
A must see film....
