Though undeveloped, inconsistant in character focus and a tad drawn-out at points, the film is offbeat, very compelling, well-written, emotionally powerful and extremely well-acted, especially on the sides of Foster and Harrelson.
What more can be said about "The Messenger" other than it is a deeply immersive and emotional ride that's more than worth watching.
