If it weren't Christolph Waltz's year, Woody Harrelson would be the one called to the podium on Oscar night, Atleast he will be named when they read the nominees for Best Supporting Actor, and deservedly so.
Unfortunately, I didn't hear any complaints when they didn't name Ben Foster or Samantha Morton, which they should have, deservedly so! The Messenger is a powerful movie with a heartbreaking script and three superb, harrowing performances.
Bravo Oren Moverman, a director worth keeping an eye on.
