I was pretty surprised at how dry this was. Like sure it was funny in some parts, mostly scenes with Kevin Spacey and some select stuff with Jeff Bridges, but as a story, it just fell flat. It had that kind of sagging, dull weariness of a Wes Anderson film.
It got better towards the end with a great last fifteen minutes, but a whole lot of the film was a forgetful experience.
