If you're looking for a fast food movie, then this is the right choice for you. A brainless, idiotic movie that only exists to please the chinese marketplace. We can verify that by the inexcusable absence of blood in the swallowing sequences.
In fact, from the moment that the creature shows up, the expectation, tension or even a slight tasture of terror was completly gone in favour of repetitive frenzy and exibicionism of digital effects. To summarize and conclude, The Meg is the worst demonstration of today's lack of creativity in Hollywood.
