Review of The Meg (2018) by Bristal N — 21 Aug 2018

'The Meg' is a fun, entertaining Summer Thriller. Is it at times predictable? Yes, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining, or at times any less stressful, and has, in my opinion, a stellar cast who work very well together.

I've seen several reviews taking a bite out of it (haha) because it doesn't live up to the level of 'Jaws' but this movie is meant to entertain, thrill and draw a couple laughs out of you - not to terrify and disturb the audience into second guessing going for a swim.

I personally loved The Meg and would highly recommend it to people who are looking for a fun, entertaining, again sometimes stressful (middle of the open ocean alone in the water with any shark, let alone a monstrous one, NOPE) Summer thriller.
