Review of The Meg (2018) by Rtheom — 11 Aug 2018
This movie was mediocre. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. It was basically a Netflix Original put up on the big screen, but none of the action was awesome enough to really warrant seeing it on the big screen.
The actors were fine, the plot was dead-center trope city, and it hit every not you expected. Unfortunately, the CGI was a bit under par, but it's infrequent enough that it's not a huge deal. Definitely don't bother with this in the theaters, maybe put it on as background noise once it is on Netflix.
