Review of The Meddler (2016) by Eugene B — 10 Oct 2016
I choose movies based on who is in them. Anything with Susan Sarandon will probably be quirky and interesting. Anything J.K. Simmons will have some class. I love Rose Byrne's face and have been a fan of her's ever since Bridesmaids.
I also am convinced she can act convincingly in any genre. This is a warm and fuzzy romp (with some awkward situations) through middle age life. Surprisingly, it touched some nerves that resonated regarding my relationship with my father who I love and admire and also feel frustrated with.
Award worthy? No. Rental Worthy? Definitely -yes.
