Review of The Meddler (2016) by Sami L — 29 Apr 2017
The title does not fit the film. I thought I was going to sit down and watch a raunchy comedy, but it's more of a drama with some light comedy. The acting is pretty good. Though there were some awkward moments, it was overall heartwarming and touching.
I thought Susan Sarandon was great, she brought a lot of softness and sweetness without repeating any previous traits from other all time favorite characters such as Stepmom.
