The Mechanic is my top favorite movies that star Jason Statham.

Arthur Bishop is a "mechanic"- an elite assassin with a unique talent for cleanly eliminatng targets...and Bishop is the best in the business. But when his mentor and close friend Harry is murdered, Bishop is intent on exacting revenge. His mission grows complicated when Harry's son Steve approaches him with the same vengeful goal. But while in pursuit of their ultimate mark, deceptions threaten to surface and those hired to fix problems become problems themselves.

Quick who's one of the biggest action stars that kicks ass no matter what movie he's in? The answer is Jason Statham. Films like Transporter and The Expendables are two of many films that Jason Statham has been in where he does nothing but beating the crap out of people. Of course some of his films are a bit sloppy, but on the up side The Mechanic is a good movie. It's clever, action packed and the best movie I've seen with Jason Statham.

Like I've said I enjoy Jason Statham more then I should. He's charming and just a complete bad ass. Ben Foster is the side character with Jason Statham and with them together, they are potent lethal action combination. The only other familiar face in this movie is Donald Sutherland which he was fine. Although he wasn't in the movie for so long. Director Simon West really knows how to make an action movie very stylish. His directing is perfect for making films like this.

I would say The Mechanic is a really good time. It may not be the perfect film but it really knows how much of kick ass person Jason Statham can be. As Jason Statham would say "You Can't beat a classic".
