Review of The Matrix Revolutions (2003) by Patryk C — 22 Jul 2012
On rewatch, things haven't changed. TMR is still just as tedious as I remember it, milking what little plot there is as much as possible, sending you to sleep before blinding you with a cluster**** of excessive CGI.
Essentially, this movie underlines the utter uselessness of almost all the secondary characters and especially their dialogue. It brings you to a climax which doesn't depend upon them at all, and I for one felt cheated.
There is such a huge lack of internal logic to this saga, and it's perhaps the biggest sci-fi missed opportunity of the last ten years.
