I saw this movie instead of Spider-Man to fulfill my big budget movie fix the day before Christmas Eve because the theater was less jam-packed and I was a casual fan of the first two movies in the trilogy.

I ended up falling asleep in my chair for only the second time ever in my filmgoing experience (the first being when I saw Lincoln almost a decade ago at a midnight showing after a long day). The plot is an incoherent mess and the pseudo-political messaging is some of the laziest and lamest contrived garbage you will see in a film.

There are cheaper and more enjoyable ways to spend two and a half hours of your time.
