Review of The Matrix Reloaded (2003) by Scott C — 23 Apr 2013
Wow, I'm surprised by the high rating here. I thought no one liked the sequels. Anyways, I thought this was the weakest of the three. It almost feels like The Matrix 1.5 - not really a full standalone film.
There are definitely some breathtaking action scenes, but it's pretty confusing and messy. Also, aesthetically, the filmmakers break their rule from the first one about making sure they show the actual actors in all the fight scenes.
The biggest break from this rule occurs when Keanu Reeves is fighting a very fake-looking computer generated army of clones of himself.
