Review of The Matador (2005) by Kan T — 05 Feb 2008
This is an eclectic, bizarre, possible but unlikely, and enjoyable film. The Matador is about an aging hit man (Brosnan) who is emotionaly tormented. This tormented character finds a salesman (Kinnear) who is in need of some success in his life.
The Salesman has a pretty decent marriage that is only recently shaky due to generic reasons. Kinnear's character meets Brosnan's and the story takes off in a wonderfull and unexpected way.
