I really liked the Mask of Zorro. He was like the Spanish version of Batman. Awesome!
I liked the story. Lots of twists and turns and the plot was great! The old Zorro wants revenge for the antagonist taking his daughter that he wasnt able to see grow up and he trains another Zorro because he wants revenge for a guy killing his brother. It might sound boring or confusing, but I assure you, it isnt. Yeah, the story can be slow at times but when the action starts, it really starts.
The characters and actors were great! Banderas was a great Zorro. Witty, smart, unexpected, sometimes cocky, charming, but just a great all around guy and perfect for the character of Zorro. The other supporting cast was great also.
The action scenes in this movie are great. The fight scenes are interesting and cool. The director did a fantastic job choreographing them. It's just really good!
The "spanish version" of Batman is really fun and interesting story that will keep you at the edge of your seat the entire time.
