Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by Mikael K — 18 Oct 2009
The talented leading trio really try, but even acting talent can't resuscitate this bland story. This one is directed in a tired way and has a weak script filled with badly used self directed irony and other weak comedic devices.
Very pointless, if watchable because of the actors. I only wish Zeta-Jones, Hopkins and Banderas would have done something better with their time instead of agreeing to be bought into such a forgettable project.
